Our commitment to corporate social responsibility
MC-Bauchemie is committed to respecting internationally recognized human rights across our operations and supply chains. We do not tolerate forced labour, child labour, human trafficking or any form of modern slavery. Our approach is guided by the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the ILO Core Labour Standards.
Policies and governance
Our internal Human Rights & Supplier Code of Conduct sets mandatory standards for business partners. Responsibilities sit with the Executives, supported by our Compliance Officer and the Head of Procurement.
Risk assessment and due diligence
We perform an annual modernslavery risk assessment combining country, sector and product risk indices with supplierlevel data. For higherrisk categories, we apply enhanced measures, such as targeted supplier audits (deskbased or onsite, including thirdparty where appropriate).
Supplier engagement and certification
Direct suppliers must certify compliance with applicable laws on forced labour and human trafficking and cascade these requirements to their own suppliers.
Training and accountability
Employees in procurement receive annual training on modern slavery risks. Breaches of our policies trigger our accountability procedures, including remediation with affected workers and potential suspension or termination of supplier relationships.
